Privacy Policy

1. Scope and Operator

This Privacy Policy explains how the NOVA GLEAM Android application handles information within the app. NOVA GLEAM is operated by NOVA GLEAM LTD. Privacy enquiries may be sent to dev@novagleam.site.

2. Information Entered in the Booking Flow

The app uses the following required information when a booking record is completed:

• Full name — required to identify the booking details shown in the app.
• Email address — required as contact information associated with the booking record.
• Phone number — required as contact information associated with the booking record.
• Service address — required to identify the service location recorded for the booking.
• Selected cleaning service — required to identify the service selected in the app.
• Property type — required to describe the selected property type.
• Number of bedrooms or rooms — required to describe the requested property scope.
• Number of bathrooms — required to describe the requested property scope.

The app also supports these optional entries:

• Selected extras — optional service preferences chosen by the user.
• Preferred date or timing — optional scheduling preference.
• Additional notes — optional instructions or context entered by the user.

3. Purpose of the Information

Required booking information is used to create, display, reopen, and manage the booking record within NOVA GLEAM. Optional information is used only to include the extra preferences or instructions selected or entered by the user.

4. Local Storage

Booking records are stored in the app's private SharedPreferences storage on the user's Android device. The app also stores favourite service identifiers, recently viewed service identifiers, and the selected System, Light, or Dark appearance preference locally.

The current app has no backend server, cloud database, authentication service, analytics service, advertising service, Firebase integration, or online booking server. Completing the booking flow does not send booking information to NOVA GLEAM, NOVA GLEAM LTD, the privacy-contact email address, or an external server. Any success screen shown after the in-app flow refers to completion of that local app flow, not confirmation by a remote business system.

5. Automatic Information

The app does not implement analytics or advertising SDKs and does not create user accounts. It does not intentionally collect device location, camera data, microphone data, media-library content, advertising identifiers, or authentication credentials.

6. Favourites, Recently Viewed, and Theme

Favourite services and recently viewed service identifiers are stored locally so those features can be shown in the app. The selected theme preference is also stored locally so the chosen appearance can be restored.

7. Retention

Booking records remain on the device until the user deletes an individual booking, uses Clear Personal Data in Settings, clears the app's storage using Android settings, or uninstalls the app. Favourite and recently viewed information remains until it is removed or cleared, app storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. The theme preference remains until changed, app storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled.

8. Deletion and User Choices

Users can delete individual booking records from My Bookings, remove individual favourites, or use Clear Personal Data in Settings to remove booking records, favourites, and recently viewed information. Users can also clear the app's storage through Android settings or uninstall the app to remove the app's private local storage.

9. Contact Email Action

The Contact Us screen can open an installed email application addressed to dev@novagleam.site when the user chooses the email contact action. This is a user-initiated general contact action. The booking flow does not use email, SMS, WhatsApp, a share sheet, or another external communication application to submit booking information.

10. Permissions and Services Not Used

The current app does not declare or use location, camera, microphone, media or storage, notification, or internet permissions. It does not use advertising SDKs, analytics, Firebase, authentication, user accounts, cloud APIs, online payment processing, or third-party image-loading services. Core catalogue images are bundled with the app.

11. Payments and Sensitive Information

NOVA GLEAM does not implement an online payment system. The app does not request or store passwords, authentication tokens, full payment-card numbers, CVV or CVC codes, card PINs, online-banking credentials, or identity documents. Users should avoid placing unnecessary sensitive information in the optional notes field.

12. Data Sharing

Because the booking information is stored locally and no backend booking server is implemented, the app does not share completed booking details with a business server, analytics provider, advertising provider, or payment processor. Information entered into an external email application after the user chooses the Contact Us email action is handled by that external email application according to its own terms and privacy practices.

13. Security

Locally stored information is kept in Android application-private storage and relies on Android application sandboxing and the security of the user's device. No method of storage can be described as completely secure, so users should protect their device and avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information.

14. Children's Privacy

NOVA GLEAM is not designed to create accounts or profiles for children and does not knowingly implement a feature intended to collect children's personal information. Users should only enter booking information that they are authorised to provide.

15. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app's implemented features, local-storage behaviour, permissions, or contact process change. The effective date at the top of the policy identifies the current version supplied with these assets.
